Why is it called ?
Importance of a brand name A play on words ? (Cultivate your health) To define my department's goals, the word
« Cap » can be used as 3 letters of an acronyme
C = Comprehension A = Action P = Prevention
Comprehension, Action, Prevention
To be a place for understanding current health issues, a free place for listening and discussion
To be a forum for meeting, learning and testing To help people stay healthy

CAP could also mean
C = Collections A = Action on line P = Partnership

The service is not really a documentation center BUT a public information point
We consider health as “a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity” that's why our collections touch on broader themes that medicine
