What I Have Learned This Year

Math

• I have learned in math about decimals. There is a tenths, a hundredths, and a thousandths columns.

Reading

• I learned about China because I am reading about China a little bit.

Social Studies

• I learned about prehistory. When they find a skull, they put clay to find out who it was.

Social Studies

I’ve learned about history and the way people live. Lenape, which are the Native Americans had to survive and they did.

Math

I learned about grids for maps. They tell you where to go.

• In math I have learned about fractions. They could help you anywhere.

Reading

• I learned about a new book about Narnia. It is about 4 kids that have to live somewhere else then they’re home.

Writing

• This week I learned about Martin Luther King Jr. He was been arrested many times.

Social Studies

• I learned about the French and Indian war. The French were fighting against the British and the Indians were helping the French.

Social Studies

• I learned that George Washington and a group of people stayed in Philadelphia for 4 months. They stayed there for 4 months because they needed to decide what to do for New Jersey.

Math

• I learned about negative and positive numbers. When you subtract sometimes it comes out adding. When you add sometimes you need to subtract.

Writing

• I learned about poems. There are many kinds of poems. One example is a Haiku.
