What is the Accelerated Business Program? Jackson College and Siena Heights University partner to offer students the opportunity to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration in three years. The ABP program is built around a cohort model wherein a group of students remain together throughout the program in its entirety. It is perfect for the working adult!
What can I do with a business degree? A degree in business can open many doors for you! A business degree gives you the skills employers seek – ability to think critically, work well in groups and communicate well verbally and in writing. You will have the opportunity to work in a variety of career fields, such as corporate business, non-profit/community sectors, government, health and educational fields, or continue with graduate studies. What is the ABP course structure?• Students complete the first 90 credit hours at JC
and the last 30 credit hours at SHU.
• During the two years at JC, students will attend fall, winter and spring semesters with courses varying in length from six to 15 week sessions. Courses meet on Tuesday evenings and approximately four Saturdays per session.
• During the last year at SHU, the fall and winter semesters consist of eight-week and 15-week course sessions. The last two accelerated courses are completed during the spring term.
• All courses are offered in Adrian at JC @ LISD TECH and Siena Heights University.
• Courses are hybrid-style; each one consists of online and face-to-face components. Students should have home Internet access and consistent access to a computer.
• Students are able to apply previous college coursework to the ABP curriculum.

In addition to major courses, students will also complete courses in other disciplines to enhance the development of their skills in communication, critical thinking, math and science reasoning, human behavior, creativity, ethics, teamwork and diversity.
