Forestry Ambassador Scheme• Promote the scheme to a range of

inspirational role models within the sector• Establish a network of Ambassadors • Produce a suite of materials • Provide training events across Scotland• Produce an articulated career map for

school pupils• Track participation in activities and report

to SDS and the ILG

Curriculum mapping • Due to range of curriculum in UHI, we

were asked by Lantra to create a map of the progression routes into rural sectors.

Erasmus Forest Network• Established in 1992 with links with European vocational

colleges, now Universities of Applied Sciences. • Network has grown to more that 40 universities and

facilitates the exchange of students, staff and researchers

• Serves as a basis for targeted curriculum development as well as intensive study programmes with industry support.

• Our students have also benefited from week long teacher exchanges

curriculum with industry needs and gaps in provision.
