PHYSICAL EDUCATION• The required P.E. Wellness
uniform is a grey t-shirt and blue shorts. This uniform must be purchased from the P.E. Department.
• Proper fitting tennis shoes that tie (stay on foot when kicking).
• Write student’s name on uniforms.
• Remember, PE clothes must be appropriate length according to school dress code requirements.
• Dress out everyday.

STAAR Accelerated classes will be assigned to students based on STAAR results. This will result in the loss of
elective classes.

COMMON WORRIES I won’t be able to
find my classes. I’ll forget which
class to go to next. I won’t be with my
friends. I won’t be able to
get my locker open.

The older kids will pick on me.
I have to change clothes in PE!
What’s the dress code? What are the school

HOMEWORK…GET ORGANIZED Have a homework routine. Have some supplies at
home. Choose a quiet place to
do homework and study. Make a timeline for
projects.- “To Do” Lists!!!
Pack up when you are finished.
HELPFUL IDEAS
Once a week clean out that backpack!
Clean out your locker after each 6 weeks.
Check the agenda every night and discuss the day’s work with your parents. (they want to know what your doing).
MORE HELPFUL IDEAS Wear your IDs at ALL times!!! Why???? IDs will be color coded to according to
grade level, to help with safety and identification.
IDs will be used to check out library books.
IDs are scanned to get your lunch

Many teachers list their daily assignments and sometimes attach homework assignments.
