Weekly Timetable• Maths and English every morning• Daily spelling, punctuation and grammar focus• Daily mental maths• Guided reading on Mon & Tue afternoon • Big maths & Big write on Fridays• RE once a week in the afternoon • Science once a week in the afternoon • History/ Geography once a week in the afternoon• Twice weekly PE – swimming (Thursday ) & PE (Wednesday)• Daily whole school assembly/ Friday celebration assembly• Weekly PHSE-Mrs Bass• Weekly spelling and times table tests• Fortnightly mental maths homework• After school clubs (Please ensure that the staff member running the club

is notified if your child cannot attend a club or would like to withdraw from a club)

Assessment without levels

• No National Curriculum Levels• Age expectations-emerging, expected (met) or

exceeding will be reported annually and officially assessed in year 2 and 6

• Parent consultations will report next step targets• Online database used by teachers to plan

objectives and to assess on a weekly basis after lessons. This is then used to inform tracking of progress and target setting.
