2018 Rosary Congress
Come pray with us during the 7 day and night event of Eucharistic adoration, hourly rosaries, Mass,
confessions and more. This event is dedicated to healing for victims of sexual abuse by spiritual

Rosary Crusade
The Annual Rosary Crusade is scheduled for thousands of
cities at noon on October 13, 2018, the anniversary of the
Fatima miracle of the sun. The intention for our Rosary
Crusade is to beg God and Our Lady to save America from
today’s immorality and secularism. Please join us in front of

Crusader 5K Run/Walk & Fall Fest
Saturday, October 13th. Pick up an official registration
form in one of the Bishop John King Mussio school
offices. Race day begins at 8am at the CCHS Athletic
Complex. (Behind the Carriage Inn) The 5K Run/Walk
begins at 9am, Little Saints Sprint at 10:15.

DPSC Thanks to all of you who have already pledged to the 2018
Diocesan/Parish Share Campaign. As of Sept. 18th, 133
families have pledged $56,058.00 to this year’s cam-
paign. This amount puts our parish over our goal of
$50,409.00 by $5,649.00 .This amount and all future
pledges will be returned to St. Peter Parish. Please re-
member that we need this rebate money to help with our
regular expenses. May God reward your generosity!
40 Days for Life Planned Parenthood in Pittsburgh (933 Liberty Ave.) Sep.

Lady Barons Collaborate with Local VA
Office to Honor Veterans
The Lady Barons Volleyball team will host an armed Ser-
vices Night on Fri, Oct 12th at 7 pm in Finnegan Field-
house to honor & thank all local veterans & service men
& women. The Lady Barons will play Capital University
Crusaders of Columbus, OH. During the 10 min break,
the home team will honor all veterans & service members
in attendance by name & they will stand with the volley-
ball players who will present them with camouflage Fran-
ciscan volley ball T-shirts. The T-shirts will also be sold
to the public to raise money for the Jefferson County
Veterans Service Office, which supports the Veterans of
Jefferson County.

Vocations Awareness Day
Franciscan University of Steubenville vocations awareness day will take place on Friday, Oct. 12, 9am-4pm in
Finnegan Fieldhouse. Meet members of approximately 60 religious communities and diocese from around the nation.
Anyone discerning a call to priesthood or religious life is especially invited to meet with vocations directors. Sponsored
by Franciscan University’s Priestly Discernment Program, which helps men discern a call to priesthood or religious life
while attending Franciscan University. The event is free and local families and high school groups are invited to come.

Trail Life Trail Life Troop OH-24 of Holy Family Parish forms boys
into courageous men of character and leaders in service of
Christ and His Church. Boys will participate in weekly
meetings to learn about the outdoors and other life skills.
There are also camp outs held regularly throughout the
year. The Second Camping Trip is scheduled for Oct.19
–21. There is another camping trip planned for Nov. 16-18.

Gettysburg and Washington DC scheduled for July 19 to

Infant of Prague Novena The Cathedral of St Joseph in Wheeling, WV will celebrate
the annual Novena to the Infant Jesus of Prague on Mon-
days at 7p.m. The Novena will be prayed for nine consec-
utive Monday evenings concluding on Nov. 12, with Ex-
position and Benediction, a homily, music & prayers.
