SUBJECT: Education Committee Agenda for Monday, September 11, 2017 DATE: September 7, 2017
At the meeting of the Education Committee on Monday, September 11, 2017, a total of three (3) agenda topics will be addressed. They are as follows:
2018 – 2019 School Calendar: S. Missett Dr. Missett will be sharing the 2018 – 2019 school calendar for a first reading. The calendar process began last school year when we decided to plan for two school years, to help parents with planning.
2017 PSSA and Keystone Results: S. Werner and R. Sokolowski Mr. Werner and Dr. Sokolowski will present an overview of district results on the 2017 PSSA and Keystone Exams. This presentation will also include three years of minority achievement data.
2017 SAT and ACT Results: S. Werner and R. Sokolowski Mr. Werner and Dr. Sokolowski will report district results on the 2017 SAT and ACT. The information will include longitudinal data on participation levels, subject test scores, and composite scores. Please note that 2017 represents first graduating cohort to have been offered the revised SAT.
