Waste Management Hierarchy in ASE
1. AVOID unnecessary resource consumption;
3. REDUCE waste generation and disposal.
RECOVER
DISPOSE
REPLACE
AVOID
2. REPLACE: Ex. Boric Acid replace to Non-Boron.
4. RE-USE waste resources without further manufacturing.
5. RECYCLE waste resources to make as products.
6. RECOVER waste resources, including energy.
TREAT 7. TREAT waste before disposal, including reducing thehazardous nature of waste.
8. DISPOSE of waste only if there is no viable alternative.

To heat IPA, Acetone solvent to its boiling point, vaporize and separate from its
contaminants. The vapor is then passed through a water condenser where it
condenses into a clean, reusable solvent.

More Advance Recycling Solutions are required.
1. To Reduce/Recycle Organic Chemical Waste (TMAH, DMSO tec.,)
2. To Reduce/Recycle High Conc. COD Waste Water.

Concluding Remark
1. More Challenge at recycling the Waste to become Resource.
2. CWTC (Chemical Waste Treatment Center) could be suitable solution at ASE and even in Taiwan.
