Dear TSA Generals,
Tenacity. Supports. Achievement. I pray everyone had a wonderful Spring Break --- safe but
fun. I want to personally thank everyone for your work in keeping us COVID free. We have a few
weeks left. Today ends the interim for the final quarter. Class of 2021 - Seniors have 15 school days
left and 20 days left until graduation. Our Prom was a success thanks to Ms. Houser and her team,
including Ms. Laney, Ms. Hyder, and Ms. Dixon. We have the TSA Fun Day tomorrow night and
the TSA Pageant April 24th.
“Absolute Value Corner:” “We should never go through life as if we are in a race to reach the end. We are to enjoy
the Journey that we are on and do our best to live life fully and experience the beauties of God's creation that
surrounds us. Many times we lose focus and fall into the trap of rushing through life without stopping to look around
and see the peace and loveliness of this
day. Throughout the scriptures we are told to seek peace and are commanded to trust in God with all our ways and
because we do, the Lord who is the leader and sustainer of our lives will add length of days to our life and health to
our physical bodies. (Habakkuk 3:17-19) (Prov. 3:5-6) (1 Peter 3:11)” ~ Mark Gibson
These ties in nicely with the book, Better Decisions, Fewer Regrets by Andy Stanley that I had mentioned before
spring break. The premise behind the book is that “good questions lead to better decisions, and thus better decisions
lead to fewer regrets.” (p. 2) We make decisions every day, from basic things such as making our beds, brushing our
teeth and heading off to school or work. Pastor Stanley believes that as you make decisions, big or small, simple or
“life” changing, always stop and consider “the story we want to tell.” (p. 7) The first question is considered the
“Integrity Question: Am I being honest with myself?” (p. 24) Why is this so important? Well, Steven Covey once
said, “You can’t talk your way out of a problem you behaved your way into.” Along with each question we will
have a decision to make. The Integrity Decision is “I will not lie to myself even when the truth makes me feel bad
about myself.” (p. 50). Next week, question number two (2).
April Character trait of the month: Forgiveness.: Psalm 86: 5: “You, Lord, are forgiving and good, abounding in
love to all who call to you.”

Middle School Easter Party
While the High School was having Prom Promise, our middle schoolers were kicking
off Spring Break with some fun Easter themed activities and an Easter
message! Our Easter message reminded us that "Empty is a Good Thing" referring
to the empty tomb and the Resurrection of our Lord! Each grade competed in five
activities. The competition was close between grades. We witnessed some amazing
athletic moves, and the grades were quite spirited! The winners of the competition
were the 8th Graders! They will have a "dress down day" later this month as their
prize for being the winning team. The date will be emailed to all parents and
students ahead of time.
B-Team Softball
Our B-Team Softball team concluded their season on Thursday with
a home match-up vs. King’s Academy. We could not be prouder of
this group of young ladies and their development this season! Thank
you to Coach Margo and Coach Jennifer for such a fun season!
