Abridge (verb)

• To make shorter• Often used with writing

Abridge (verb)The book on the left is the original copy of

the story. Someone abridged the book to make the much shorter book on the right.

Adherent (noun; adjective)

• (n) a follower or supporter• (adj) attached, sticking to

Adherent (noun and adjective)Ace bandage wraps are especially adherent.

Watch out if you have hairy legs, the might stick to the hair and pull it out!
