Conclusion (simulation)• Sometimes ~1db increase observed when

power restored to UPS• Movement of any component of the VLF

equipment doesn’t produce amplitudegrowth

• Possible reason of the peak is the

simultaneous switching off/on thousandsof electrical equipment in the city

Summary• 22 Aug 2008 earthquake induced signal – no

confirmation. The same with TECmeasurements.

• Solar eclipse signatures are not observed

• Noise reduction. Maybe it is necessary toreplace to another place

• 2 SuperSID simultaneous observations canestimate the Tashkent noise level

• Maidanak astronomical observatory as apossible place for VLF and second SuperSID
