Crisan, a village in the middle of the natureCrisan is a little fisherman village

situated in the core of the Danube Delta, on Sulina arm.

The access is possible only using the ferry. This detail gives to this village a unique charm.

Situated on the Danube river bank at 500 meters left as you get off the boat, (number 180bis) there you will find a traditional house and it's garden with many flowers. You will enjoy the special atmosphere of the river and it’s superb sunrises. It is the occasion to discover the local cuisine based on fish and farm products.

Birdwatching tourYou can take part of a day tour with

Petre - pasioned birdwatcher and native of the region - to discover the huge diversity of birds of the Delta. The itinerary will be chosen depending on the bird species that you intend to observe.

Canoe toursThe canoes are very stable and easy to

handle and they allow you to enter the most wild places of the Delta. You can rent a canoe for one or several days and some itineraries will be proposed to you. If necessary, the group could be accompanied by a good local guide.

Fishing partiesIt is especially in

autumn when the Delta is getting a very interesting place for hobby fisherman. Accompanied by a local guide you can be brought by boat to the best fishing places.

Discover the Danube Delta in one day

Starting in the morning you will have the chance to get to some of the most beautiful places of this area. The lunch is organized on board and in the late afternoon you will be back in Tulcea.

If you are short of time and you want to visit the Danube Delta it is possible to go on one day tour.
