INSTRUCTIONAL LIMITATIONS:

The School of Business has 5,000+ students now with 78,000 sq. ft in the current business building.

• This equates to 15.6 sq. ft per student.

We are increasingly hamstrung in our efforts to serve our students though a lack of space.

STRUCTURAL LIMITATIONS:

 • Cannot remove the walls or drill through the floor for fear of collapse.

- Difficult to install wireless nodes for better Internet in classrooms

- Unable to run new wiring through flooring to install new media systems

• The building is a masonry sheer and bearing structure with a post-tensioned floor system built approximately 40 years ago.

UVU STUDENT DEMOGRAPHICS:
