What is Digg?

Digg (digg.com) is a online content aggregator. Articles, blog entries, images, and video from across the Web are submitted and voted on by the Digg’s user community.

How does Digg work?

When a link is submitted, Digg’s users can vote on whether to ‘digg’ or ‘bury’ the content. Based on the number of votes, a link will either rise toward the top or sink toward the bottom of digg’s link lists.

The most popular content is included in daily, weekly, and monthly Top News lists. These lists are arranged according to 10 themes, including Business, Gaming, Technology, and Sports.

Step 1: Anyone can join Digg, either via their Facebook profile or email account.

Step 2: Once you’ve submitted your user information, Digg sends a confirmation email. By clicking the link, you confirm your information and can then begin actively using Digg.

Step 3: Once you’ve confirmed your registration, you will be brought to your profile page, where you can add info about yourself and subscribe to other users.

Step 1: To recommend content to Digg, click the ‘Submit Link’ button at the top of the page

Step 3: Paste the URL of the link you want to submit.

Step 4: Write a brief description of the content you’re submitting and select the ‘topic’ that best describes it.
