Thank you to U.S. Rep. John Carter for updating the business community at the monthly chamber luncheon Aug. 14 at Hill Country Bible Church.

Carter used the opportu-nity to discuss the nation-al budget, his role on the U.S. House of Represen-tatives Committee on Ap-propriations and his on-going efforts to enact bi-partisan immigration re-form.
