The US Open started August 31 and concludes this weekend in the Flushing neighborhood of the Queens borough of New York City.

It is the fourth and final tennis competition that comprises the Grand Slam, in which Serena Williams has a chance to earn this calendar year. It would be the first time in 27 years this feat was accomplished for a singles player.
