What is being brought?
• Venue design, construction, fit-out & overlay– Starts with architectural drawings & ends with complete event site– Project management, engineering, health & safety, cost control, materials selections,
security planning, construction delivery & fit-out, materials, building services, construction management, control systems, surfacing, transport
• Event delivery – Focus on Games-time delivery although planning & procurement will start earlier– Legal services, project finance & insurance services, event management, education,
marketing, media & PR, waste management, temporary overlay, catering, ticketing, security
• Legacy – Post event which transfers the event site into ‘fit for purpose’ site for its planned future use– Facilities management, dismantling of temporary facilities, landscaping, construction
services, conferencing & exhibition facilities, sport legacy (sport equipment, consultancy etc)- Wider activities organised to engage and celebrate the event

• Venue design, construction, fit-out & overlay– Construction started on all major venues– Flow down into supply chains– 75 out of 96 major T1 construction contracts let– 73 out of 92 major services & corporate contracts let– LOCOG procurement schedule published (£700m)– LOCOG – procurement started - £80m to date
