Too or very ?• Utilizamos too+adjectivepara dar énfasis al adjetivo,

aunque con una connotación negativa.

Ej: It’s only 5ºC today. I won’t go out. It’s too cold!

• Utilizamos very para darle énfasis a un adjetivo, pero NO con un significado negativo.

This olive is very heavy,but I can carry it!

• This chocolate is ____________ hot!

Adverbs• Los adverbios describen un verbo, una acción.– The turtle walked home slowly.

How did he walk? (¿Cómo caminó?)Slowly (Lentamente)

• Algunos adverbios también puede describir un adjetivo.– It was bitterly cold yesterday.

– How cold was it?– Bitterly cold.

La mayoría de los adverbios se forman con un adjetivo con la terminación ly.
