Sri Lanka has a recorded history of over two thousand five hundred years. It is
historically true that the Sri Lankan great culture has been nourished by the concept of
the tank, pagoda, village and temple through the light of Buddhist philosophy for
thousands of years. Moreover a number of cultural facets derived from primary societies
are also evident within the Sri Lankan culture. Presently, the Sri Lankan society is a
composite of multifaceted sub cultures. Therefore, it is very important to identify and
