-Contact groups in need of LWD

-Set up agreement with receiving party
-Pros: Whole trees taken care of, benefit to environment, no slash to deal with.
-Cons: No revenue from timber harvest, not all trees can be taken.

-Contact local Oregon Department of Forestry (ODF) representative
-Volunteer groups/inmates remove trees for firewood and pile brush for burning
Pros: Good for building community relations, will take smaller trees
Cons: Liability, stumps stay in the ground
