The State of Himachal Pradesh was formed in January 25, 1971 as ththe 18 state of India. The total area of the state is 55,673 sq km. The
State is bordered by Jammu & Kashmir on North, Punjab on West and
South-West, Haryana on South, Uttarakhand on South-East and China
