Stratford Town and Tiddington and Alveston - Neighbourhood Plan
Dear Resident We are writing to you, as your Town Councillors, to let you know that you will soon receive, through your letterbox, a housing needs survey questionnaire which will have been distributed to every resident in Stratford Town and Tiddington and Alveston.
This is the first ever housing needs survey conducted and as such is a milestone for Stratford. The responses received will help to identify housing requirements needed for all residents and their dependants over the next 20 year period. It will also help to identify housing mix required. This information will contribute to the Stratford Neighbourhood Plan which will form part of the District Council’s Core Plan. Responses need to be returned by 9th October. If you require any help or you have any queries please do contact us.

EGYPT - THE LAND OF THE PHARAOHS Saturday 14 November 7 for 7.30pm
Tiddington Community Centre "The Land of the Pharaohs comes to Tiddington in this fascinating talk about the Ancient Egyptians and the
origins of some of the most recognisable and iconic symbols of Ancient Egypt.
Local Egyptologist, Alison Humphries, has made several visits of exploration in Egypt to supplement her many
years of study, enjoying access to sites which are not routinely available to tourists.
Alison has an extensive collection of photos and videos from these trips which she will use to illustrate her talk.
Get up close and personal with the tomb of Nefertari, Queen Consort of Ramesses the Great. This tomb has been
closed to general view since 1950; it is currently only accessible with special permission as its paintings are very
fragile and of exceptional quality. Alison was very lucky to be granted access to the tomb on a recent visit and
will be able to take us along with her using archive material - she wasn't allowed to take her own camera in!"

the town's villain, Archibald Snatcher. When Snatcher comes up with a plot to get rid of the
Boxtrolls. Eggs decides to venture above ground and "into the light," where he meets and teams up with fabulously feisty Winnie. Together, they devise a daring plan to save The BoxTrolls family.
