Friday 19 th June Good morning! We hope you’ve had a lovely day! Here are some activities for you to do today:Reading: Spend 15-20 minutes reading your reading book or one of your favourite books.Writing: watch this short video cliphttps://www.literacyshed.com/something-fishy.html

When writing a fantasy narrative with a real world trigger, have 3 distinct sections for the opening of the story. The real word setting and finding the trigger, the journey to the fantasy land, (no matter how brief) and then arriving in the fantasy world.

In this case the trigger is the washing machine, the journey is very short - basically putting head in machine and then swimming the short distance into the underwater world.

Your turn Write a story using an everyday objects as triggers to take you into a fantasy adventure.

Maths: Have a go at completing the questions you think you can do. Record them in your home learning books.

Are either of them correct?

ART – make a nature picture frame (see below) Take a picture of it and send it to thornhillsupport@focus-trust.co.uk subject Mrs Eckles or Mrs Cave
