• This training segment will walk you through the Quick Quote process in Meadowbrook Online. • Quick Quote is a way for you to get a premium indication for an insured without having to enter

all of the policy details.

• To get started on the Home Page of Meadowbrook Online, click on the Quick Quote link in the

left navigation list.

• The Quick Quote screen will be displayed.

• Select your Company and Insurance Carrier in the "Company" drop down box. • Select the primary state from the Primary State drop down box. • Select the Effective Date.

o Select the term for the quick quote. § The term field defaults to twelve months, but can be changed by selecting from the

Term drop down box. • Enter the applicant name in Applicant Name field. • Select the Employers Liability limits.

• Scroll down to enter the Experience Modification in Experience Modification field.

• Select available optional Modifications for the state. • More than one optional modification can be selected by holding down the control key when

selecting. • Click on the Arrow button to complete the Optional Modification selection.

• Scroll down to enter the Class Code/Description for the state. • There are two ways to input a Class Code/Description.

• Enter in a class code number. • The class code for that number will pop up. • Select one from the drop down that is most applicable.

• Enter in the exposure for the selected class code.

• The other way to enter a class code is by Description/Key Word of the class code. • Select the class code that is most applicable to you from the drop down. • Enter the exposure for the class code.

• In some cases a Secondary State will be added to the quick quote. • To add another state click the Add State button.

• Select a state and add it to the quote. • In this instance a secondary state will not be necessary, so click cancel. • If you did add a second state, you would need to add the class codes as shown earlier for that

secondary state.

• Click the bottom right arrow to rate the Quick Quote.

• The Rating Status screen will appear while the Quick Quote is being rated.

• When the rating process is complete, rating information will appear. • To view the premium indication letter, click Quote Letter.

• While the Premium Indication Letter is being generated, a loading screen may appear. • When completed the Premium Indication Letter will appear.

o You can save or print the Premium Indication Letter. • You can also email the Premium Indication Letter.

• An email screen will be displayed.

o Start by entering the name of the recipient. • Enter the subject of the email. • Type your Message in the Message box. • Once you have entered the required information, click send.

• Once your email has been successfully sent, click Return for the Premium Indicator Letter.

• Once the premium indicator is presented again, click Exit to return to the Quick Quote.

• If there are any changes that need to be made to the Quick Quote, click the Quick Quote tab or

page back arrow to make changes.

• Once those changes are made, click the Quote tab or page forward arrow.

• To re-rate the quote click on the Rate link. • The quote will be re-rated.

• Once you are ready to turn the Quick Quote into a full Quote, click on Accept Quick Quote.

• Click the Continue button to accept the Quick Quote.

• To see your Quick Quote in the Existing Quote list, click on the Existing Quote in the left

navigation box.

• You can use the Basic Search filters at the top of the Existing Quotes to filter down to your Quick

Quote.

• You will know that it is a Quick Quote because it is tagged with a green box next to the quote

number labeled QQ. • In the Existing Quote list when you click on the Quick Quote you have the option to

edit, print, delete or convert the Quick Quote.

• If you choose to edit the quote, it will bring up the quote in the Quick Quote tabs. • The Print option will print the Premium Indication letter for the Quick Quote. • The Delete option will delete the Quick Quote from the Existing Quote list, and move the quote to

the Archived Quotes List. • The Convert Quick Quote option will take all of the Quick Quote information and bring it up in the

full Quoting system of Meadowbrook Online.

• You can now finish converting your Quick Quote into a full quote in the Meadowbrook Online system that can be bound into a policy.

• This Completes the Quick Quote training segment.
