Dear Lynn & Ray:

Congratulations on your honor for a

wonderful cause. Being BORN IN

THE USA we are no strangers to

people RACING IN THE STREETS

though the BADLANDS and

BACKSTREETS. We have to

PROVE IT ALL NIGHT that we are

TOGHER THAN THE REST. Even

though there us a DARKNESS ON

THE EDGE OF TOWN there will be

NO SURRENDER and surely

GLORY DAYS and BETTER DAYS

will follow people like the both of

you leading the way.

BRUUUUUUUUCE!!!

Tribute to Jim Gurfein

We were deeply saddened by the loss

of board member Jim Gurfein in

March. Jim Gurfein had been involved

with WCM since 2005 and was

instrumental in growing both our

infrastructure and our online

presence. Jim was ill for a long time

but he still attended as many board

meetings as he could. Jim will be sorely missed by this organization. Our thoughts and

sincerest condolences go out to his family.

Luckey to Have Known Tom

We were deeply saddened by the loss

of Tom Luckey, designer of the

Westchester Children's Museum's

unique climbing structure. Tom was

an incredibly gifted and inspiring

human being who was devoted to his craft in spite of his

physical challenges. Tom's talented team, including his son

Spencer, will be guiding the WCM climber project through

to completion.

We look forward to the honor of presenting Tom's Luckey

Climber, a lasting legacy, at our future museum at Rye

Playland.
