ConceptThe Den at Soneva Fushi Resort and Residences is the first of its kind to be built in the Maldives. The project is designed to be a playground for the imagination with lots of creative and fun activities for the whole family!

Facilities The den has lots of outdoor attractions around the building, such as two pools (a big pool with slide and a nemo-shaped toddlers pool), a pirate ship, a herb garden, a sundeck and a tunnel. Library & Cinema RoomThis area contains a roll-down cinema screen with a projector, as well as extensive daybeds for the kids to lounge on and and a bookcase with books for all ages and tastes. It is another flexible space that can be used for movies, presentations, lessons or quiet relaxation away from the hustle and bustle.

Dress-up & Make-up RoomThis room is for those who want to dress up as their favourite fantasy character or imitate the grown-ups for a while. It contains a large make-up table with a vanity mirror, a full-length mirror, changing room and wardrobes with a wide selection of dressing-up clothes.

Lego RoomThis is an exciting playroom well equipped with all the latest Lego sets as well as Lego pads on the floor and walls, and a Lego display area for the children to show off their creations.

Music RoomThis acoustically-designed room contains guitars of all types, a full drum-kit, an electric keyboard, local instruments of various types, microphones and stage lighting. Perfect for kids to test out and hone their musical skills.

DJ CornerHead over to the DJ corner where you can listen to some fun tunes being mixed.. or perhaps, you may even want to have a go. Could you be the DJ for our teen pool party?

Mocktail BarAs fully-equipped as any adult bar, but much healthier, our mocktail bar uses hard-wearing colourful cups of all types as well as specialist cocktail-making equipment. Also equipped with high stools to suit any person’s height as they sit at the bar and watch their friends/children/brothers and sisters get creative as mocktail mixologists.

KitchenWell equipped with an oven, hobs, plenty of storage, all imaginable utensils, and a large dining table. An open, flexible space will be used for local and international cooking classes, and fun activities such as sweet and cookie-making.

Learning AreaA large and flexible space with various shapes and sizes of tables and chairs, suitable for all ages. Can be used for classroom-style lessons but will be more used for creative activities where children can learn by doing and making.

Pirate Ship Standing nearly eight metres high, this is the perfect outdoor playground for children. The pirate ship is built from local, sustainable timber.

Swimming Pools – one for children and one for toddlersThe main pool has a large circular slide and a pool bar, so children and parents alike can keep cool whilst having a refreshing drink. The toddlers’ pool is shaped and coloured like a clown fish and is built into the edge of the main pool. Sun loungers and umbrellas abound for those who want to relax, whilst a large array of lilos and toys are available to use.

Teenage LoungeA relaxation area which provides a bit of peace and quiet for those tired from the exciting activities. Mood lighting and extensive daybeds are available.

Soft Play and Chill Out AreaA quiet and relaxing play area for children to enjoy soft toys and board games.
