PERRIER-JOUËT Perrier-Jouët’s history has read like a myth. Started in 1811, Pierre-Nicolas Perrier and Rose-Adélaïde Jouët got married and founded their Champagne House. Inspired by a constant quest for perfection, Perrier-Jouët has turned the Champagne tradition into a homage to art: doubtlessly because it has never stopped in its attempt to add beauty to everyday life.

GERMANY AND AUSTRIA Germany’s cooler climate produces white wines with lean, laser-focused fruit flavors and heightened acidity. What makes German white wines so compelling is their ability to age a long time. Silvaner is definitely one of Germany’s great undiscovered white wines. The grape is very difficult to grow and produce, but after our most recent trip to the region we were surprised by the overall quality of the wines.

FRANCEALSACE
Alsace is most famously known for the following noble varieties: elegant, dry Riesling wines, off-dry Pinot Gris and luscious, rich Gewürztraminer. This cool climate region involves the vineyard’s southern exposure to receive the most sun and makes the grape ripening becomes tricky and more special than other.

LOIRE VALLEY
This region is one of the world's most well-known areas of wine production and includes several French wine regions situated along the river from the Muscadet region on the Atlantic coast to the regions of Sancerre and Pouilly-Fumé just southeast of the city of Orléans in north central France. Loire wines tend to exhibit a characteristic fruitiness with fresh, crisp flavours.

BURGUNDY
White Burgundy is just Chardonnay, but the region is also the origin place of the variety, which is by the way, the world’s most popular white grape. In Burgundy, the combination of climate, land, and tradition produce a wine that is coveted by many and never precisely replicated anywhere else. Wines from Chablis are frequently described as having citrus and white flower aromas with dry, lean, light-bodied flavors of citrus, pear, minerality and salinity.

NEW WORLDThe climates of New World wine regions are often warmer, which tends to result in riper, more alcoholic, full-bodied and fruit-centered wines. These wines are often made in a more highly extracted and oak-influenced style.

ROSE WINEPink wine happily spans the colorspace between red and white wine, in a way, rosé is more like a state of mind. Rosé happens when the skins of red grapes touch wine for only a short time.

NORTHERN ITALY
One of the best ways to explore Piedmont, Italy is through its wines. Drink your way through the region and you’ll discover quite a range of styles: from the bold and age-worthy red wines of Nebbiolo to the delicate, sweet, fizzy white wines of Moscato d’Asti.

SUPER TUSCAN
Many of the important and famous wines in Tuscany are actually the IGTs. The more expensive wines have since the 70's been called Super Tuscans. This name was invented by Robert Parker who found notable interest in these wines and helped them become famous world wide.

SOUTHERN ITALY
Southern Italy is a major interval on the timeline that traces the history of wine. The Italian wine region that stretches south of Rome through the toe and heel of Italy’s famous boot has produced excellent wines since the Greeks crossed the sea and planted vines there some 3,000 years ago.

GERMANY AND AUSTRIAAustrian wines are mostly made in the eastern side of the country where the major population areas are and the cooler continental climate produces racy, dry white wines and elegant, fruity reds. This is not a region for rich, opulent wines like what you’ll find in much of California and Australia.

LOIRE VALLEY
This region enjoys a maritime or oceanic climate. Most of the vineyards planted on slopes running east-west benefit from ample sunshine. In this area, very few new oak barrels are used, emphasizing the fresh character of the grapes. The nose flavour mostly bring out dark berry and fruit notes with mild spice and herbal qualities and the palate would be light to medium bodied with red and black berry flavors, moderate acidity and tannins.

RHÔNE VALLEY
It's generally divided into two sub-regions with distinct vinicultural traditions, the Northern Rhône and the Southern Rhône. The northern sub-region produces red wines from the Syrah grape, sometimes blended with white wine grapes. The southern sub-region produces an array of red, white and rosé wines, often blends of several grapes such as in Châteauneuf-du-Pape.

BORDEAUX
Bordeaux reds are medium to full bodied with bold aromas of black currant, plums and an earthiness like smelling wet soil or pencil lead. Depending on the quality, vintage and what region within Bordeaux the wine is from, fruit flavors range from more tart fruit to sweeter ripe fruit. When you taste the wines, they burst with mineral and fruit notes that lead into prickly, savory, mouth-drying tannins. The tannins are often high enough that wines will age for several decades.

SPAIN AND PORTUGALClimate and terrior vary around Spain, and so do the wine styles. The two flagship regions of Spain, Rioja and Ribera del Duero, are in warmer, drier regions inland, producing fruit-driven, luscious red wines with great structure. Monsant is also among the most famous for the exceptional wines.
