What might the NHS look like at 100?

What the research has told us

o Universal worry about the current health of the nation and how the NHS will continue to deliver against the needs of the population

o A real willingness to share health data to improve patient outcomes – for example to increase access to personalised medicines

o A hope for digital solutions such as an NHS app, chatbot and online consultations to be harnessed for a faster and more connected service

o Belief that technology and innovations including AI and genomic profiling could improve efficiency to allow more face-to-face interactions

o Report has been published this morning at www.nsh100.co.uk

Just as mobile phones

overcame the lack of landlines,

the use of drones to deliver

life-saving medical products

can overcome the lack of road

infrastructure seen in much of

rural Africa.
