Memories Souvenir~ are made from memo

ries. There have been inspirational moments. for instance. when we saw the seniors on the stage during gradution. With the memories of our fir.t da'' as freshmen, we are able to relate to the incoming freshmen and help them fit into the lifestyle here.

Photographs help to preserve these memories. They can capture those special moments that took place and remind us of those times every time we look althem. We hope this year's Quadrangle will bring memories and be a souvemr through time for you.

Band During the fall 'eme, ter, the :\lcPherson College

Band was loud and amusmg at •ports activitie. and forceful and soothing for their scheduled concerh. This November they had the opportunity of rehear,mg and pre<enting a concert with the compo.er 1conductor Vincent Per~ichetti, who is a prominent con · temporary American composer. He directed the band on his two 'elections, "P-alm for Band. Opus :;:rand "Serenade for Band. Opus 8ii." The band ah.o pre>ented a Christmas concert

Pep hand was organized to support the football and ba,ketball teams. Fnr football the band marched one game with their '"hose-horns," throughly enjoying the reactions from the crowd. Basketball season had its loud' and quiets, as it wa, uncertain JUSt when the hand could play and what the hand could do, without breaking rules. One of the perils of basketball season is watching out for halls and players. when playing or preparing to play. so one doesn't end up with a basketball face.
