I AM HAPPY TO BE MARCHING INTO MARCH WITH
GREAT MOMENTUM AND BIG WINS!
The Maple Heights Homeownership Program has
been launched to make vacant and distressed
homes in Maple Heights available for purchase by
both owner-occupants and developers and two have already
sold!
The City has been awarded a $150,000 Municipal County Small
Business Initiative Grant from Cuyahoga County in partnership
with the Small Business Administration (SBA) to help fund the
city’s Small Business Partnership Program which provides as-
sistance to small business startups and expansions in the city.
Wallick Communities, an affordable housing and senior living developer, has entered into a 2-Year Option Agreement with the City to purchase the former Petitti’s land at 5130 Lee Rd to build a 44-Unit Senior Independent Living Community.
The first day of Spring this year is on March 20th. So
warmer days are just weeks away giving us longer and
brighter days! The City of Maple Heights is certainly
grateful for brighter days after a long and ongoing
recovery. We must remain faithful, civically engaged,
and strong in all that we must do to bring back the
services and quality of life that we all deserve and
have worked so hard for.
