committed at 92 Second Street in Fall River, Massachusetts.

A wealthy businessman and his wife were found brutally

murdered in their Victorian home in Fall River,

Massachusetts.

The Accused: the youngest daughter, Lizzie.

• Lizzie was 33 years old at the time of the murder and she lived at home with their father and stepmother.

• Lizzie was a Sunday school teacher and she was well-respected in her community.

• Lizzie did not like her stepmother.

•Emma was Lizzie’s sister and she also lived with her father and stepmother.

•At the time of the murder, Emma was out-of-town visiting a friend.

• Maggie was the maid at the Borden house.

• At the time of the murders, Maggie claimed that she was resting in her upstairs bedroom because she had to wash the outside windows earlier that morning.
