Internet
The Internet is a large group of
computers that are connected to
each other. The Internet is used to
send information quickly between
computers around the world. It has
millions of smaller domestic, academic, business, and
government networks and websites, which together carry
many different kinds of information
Browser
a software application that is used to view Web pages.
Most browsers can also be used to send and receive
email, connect to Web based free email services and read
newsgroups. Web pages include text, graphics, sound
and video.
Basics
1. Turn on your Computer
2. Open The Start Menu
3. Open All Programs
4. Find Internet Explore(for Now)
Address BarO Is a feature in a web
browser that either shows the current URL or accepts a typed URL that the user wishes to go to.
O Most address bars offer a list of suggestions while the address is being typed in. Auto-completion bases its search on the browser history.
Back and forward buttons
O go back to the previous resource and forward respectively
O Back is usually an arrow facing the left
O Forward is usually and arrow facing to the right
O They are in all modern web browsers
