Simple machines help us carry out many basic tasks. If you need to lift something heavy, you might use
a pulley. If you want to keep a door open, you might put a wedge between the bottom of the door and
the ground. Your child will discover how simple machines can make life easier in Engi-nuity!
We need your child’s help to complete a top-secret assignment, but we cannot reveal the specific
details as they are highly confidential and can only be delivered in person. What we can tell you is that
your child will need to join our Secret Agents camp to complete a fun training course, gather clues, use
different disguises to go undercover and perform other assignments.
Technology is everywhere; computers, tablets and smartphones have become an essential part of our
everyday lives. But how do they work? In Code Academy, we’ll tackle this question and more as your
child explores the various uses of technology. Your child will also have the opportunity to try writing
some computer code, which is a valuable skill in the 21st century.
Out of This World takes your child on an adventure to find out what the constellations look like, how
astronauts traveled from the Earth to the moon and so much more. We might even build a space
shuttle and take an imaginary trip to Mars.
Math is a vital part of everyday life. In Mega Mathletes, we’ll apply math to everyday situations, such
as cooking or calculating distances, to help your child learn to solve math problems easily.
