In order for the publics on both sides to lend their support for the new prospects of peacemaking, there must be an immediate positive impact on the welfare of ordinary Palestinian and Israeli citizens. One of the main keys to economic development is vitalizing the private sector and engaging it in opportunities to profit from the new environment created as a result of Israel’s disengagement from Gaza.
