The Sixth Beatitude

Not the blood Pump

Pure Heart = Pure Tongue

God gave rules for clothing Adam & Eve made aprons - Gen.3:7 God made coats - clothed them Gen.3:21

“Clothed, and in his right mind.” Lk.8:35

“Providing for honest things, not only in the sight of the Lord, but also in the sight of men.” 2 Cor. 8:21

Honest = what is fair, right, honorable Ethical, upright

“Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.” Col. 3:2

2 Tim. 1:5 “unfeigned faith” “genuine”

Feigned = pretend, act

“But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.” Rom. 6:17

The Sixth Beatitude

In a right relationship with God

Born again - John 3:3

In the Kingdom = church

Shall see God face to face

1 John 3:2 “for we shall see him”

Rev. 22:4 “And they shall see his face”

God did not say…

“Blessed are the philosophers or the intellectual giants, for they shall see God.”

“Blessed are the pure in heart; for they shall see God.” Matt. 5:8

Specific - Pure in heart

Results - Shall see God
