God’s word nourishes us spiritually

“as newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby,” 1 Pet. 2:2 NKJV

Meat for those of full age - Heb.5:14

Psalms 19:10 “More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.”

Psalms 1:2 “But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.”

Only desire that can be truly satisfied

God can fill our craving

“For He satisfies the longing soul, And fills the hungry soul with goodness.”

Psalms 107:9

“And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.”

John 6:35

John 4:13-15 - shall never thirst
