How to play Warri?

• Two players sit on either side of a long board that has six holes on each side. Four small seeds are placed in each hole. The first player picks up all the seeds in the first hole and moves them clockwise one by one to the next holes until his handful is gone. Then it is the second player’s turn to move the seeds from a hole on his side. This goes on, back and forth. Eventually, the seeds begin to pile up in some of the holes. Each player captures as many seeds from the next hole as possible when it is his or her turn to move. The first player to run out of seeds loses this fast-paced game. With experienced players, a game of warri can be over in a few minutes.
