Our Proposal
Thames House will deliver a 50/50 mix of commercial and residential space that responds to the varied needs of Dalston.
The plans will provide 41 new homes, 50% of which will be affordable. 60% of these will be for affordable rent and 40% for shared ownership. A third of the new residences will be family sized three bedroom homes.
These homes will be complemented by commercial space, creating a busy and diverse new area in Dalston town centre.
Thames House will contribute to a varied cityscape with distinct architectural design and building heights across the three blocks. The architectural style and detailing have been informed by the local area by local architectural firm, Levitt Bernstein.
The development will include attractive and safe public space populated with high quality landscaping and a children’s play area, with opportunities for ground floor retail to add further activity at street level.
Finally, the Eastern Curve Garden is safeguarded in the proposal and some additional land will be loaned from our site to the garden to allow for the expansion of this local asset.
