n GMATFAU Test Prep's 30-hoursGMAT Classroom Course - $599The Graduate Management Admission Test® (GMAT®) is a standardized exam--delivered in English--that helps business schools assess the qualifications ofapplicants for advanced study in business and management. Schools use the testas one predictor of academic performance in an MBA or other graduatemanagement program.
The GMAT consists of four separately timed sections. The two first sections arethe Analytical Writing Assessment (AWA). The AWA section consists of twoseparate writing tasks—Analysis of an Issue and Analysis of an Argument. Theremaining two sections (Quantitative and Verbal) consist of multiple-choicequestions delivered in a computer-adaptive format. The quantitative sectioncontains 37 multiple-choice questions of two question types—data sufficiencyand problem solving. The verbal section contains 41 multiple-choice questions ofthree question types—reading comprehension, critical reasoning and sentencecorrection.

This course provides a comprehensive review of the basic concepts of math thatwill be tested on the GRE. First the math principles are taught and practiced inclass; then math problems from actual GRE tests are solved. If you know that youhave forgotten these foundational math concepts, then this course is a must.
Required text: Practicing to Take the GRE (10th edition by ETS) ISBN# 0-88685-212-9 (available at the FAU bookstore). This is the same textbookrequired for the regular GRE prep course.
After completing the GRE MATH Fundamentals, you may register for a regularGRE course, which includes the verbal and math sections, for a fee of $149.
n LSATFAU Test Prep's 21-hours LSAT Classroom Course - $499
The LSAT is a half-day standardized test required for admission to all LSAC-member schools. It provides a standard measurement of acquired reading andverbal reasoning skills that law schools can use as one of several factors inassessing applicants.
The test consists of five 35-minute sections of multiple-choice questions. Four ofthe five sections contribute to the test taker’s score. These sections include onereading comprehension section, one analytical reasoning section and two logicalreasoning sections. The unscored section typically is used to pretest new testitems and to pre-equate new test forms. A 30-minute writing sample isadministered at the end of the test. The writing sample is not scored by LSAC,but copies are sent to all law schools to which you apply.
The FAU LSAT Preparation course is designed to help you prepare for the exam byfamiliarizing you with each subject area, giving important insights into the typesof questions and offering timed testing practice.

n ACT MATH & SCIENCEIn the Mathematics Test, three subscores are based on six content areas:pre-algebra, elementary algebra, intermediate algebra, coordinategeometry, plane geometry and trigonometry. The content of the ScienceTest includes biology, chemistry, physics and the Earth/space sciences (forexample, geology, astronomy, and meteorology). Advanced knowledge inthese subjects is not required, but background knowledge acquired ingeneral, introductory science courses is needed to answer some of thequestions. Payment for courses* can be made by Visa, MasterCard, Discover Card, American Express, check,cash or company purchase order. Payment is due at the time of enrollment. Make checks payable toFlorida Atlantic University. Cash payments (exact amounts only) must be made in person.
CEUs: Florida Atlantic University awards CEUs (Continuing Education Units) to participants in ourcourses. One CEU is awarded for each 10 hours in class.
Flexible registration: FAU offers continuous enrollment opportunities by telephone, mail, fax, andin person, right up to the day your continuing education course begins.
Discounts: Receive a 10% team discount on selected courses when three or more people from onecompany enroll in the same non-credit course. We ask that you enroll at the same time and use onemethod of payment.
Cancellations: If you must cancel, please notify us by phone or fax at least 48 hours before thecourse begins. You will receive a full refund minus a $15 processing fee for each course. If less than 48hours notice is given you will be charged a $40 processing fee for each course. No cancellations will beaccepted AFTER a course begins. If a course is cancelled by us for any reason, you will receive a fullrefund.
