Become the perceived expert

• When you provide something of value, a person shows gratitude and wants to return the favour.

• When you give information of value to a person, you become an expert in their eyes.

• When you’re an expert, people want to do business with who they perceive to be the best (not the second best)!

• When they have an issue or a problem, they think of you.

• When you’re perceived to be the best at what you do, people will accept that you will cost more than others.

Become the perceived expert

• Providing information of value is the best way to ‘become the expert’.

• Providing information that is HIGHLY relevant to their pain, need or problem will be the information that is noticed.

• The only way to stand out in the ‘information overload age’ is to provide information that is HIGHLY useful to the reader, otherwise it will NOT get read.

• People now choose what they won’t read.

Engagement builds brand trust • Engagement gets you ‘top of mind’ with your audience- different

from being just being ‘seen’.

• Engagement on social media builds the trust in you and your brand.

• Once trust is maximised and a need for your service exists, that’s when contact will be made.

Engagement can be done 3 ways-

• Empower- Inspire and motivate.

• Entertain- connect using humour and what they can relate to.

• Educate- become the expert in their eyes through being ‘useful’.

Using memes • Memes can inspire and motivate your audience.

• Whoever motivates them gets ‘honour’ in their eyes, building trust.

• Get to know good pages where great motivational memes are placed-

-Brian Tracy

-Nick Vujicic

-Kim Garst

-Zig Ziglar

-John C Maxwell

-Darren Hardy

• Get to know their popular and not so popular memes, based on ‘likes’.

• Then save into a folder the most popular ‘likes’ memes and use them.

• The more useful, the more it will engage.

• Can be words on a post or a video.

• It doesn’t matter if you’re ‘giving away’ your expertise. Owners don’t self manage because they have the knowledge to do it.

• Educate them become the expert and get the business.
