An insight into my experience of tea at work and Uni :)

Transcript of Tea at Work and University

Tea at work and college!

As well as going to university I also have a part time job in order to earn money for myself. Personally I enjoy a good cup of tea and a couple of biscuits at lunch time and sometimes at night before bed. In this presentation I will go through the processes of making tea at work and college and how tea fits into my daily life.

Most days I have tea with breakfast as I work early in the morningBefore I go to University.

Then for lunch I may have a sandwich or a Panini with friends andWe may have a chat with a cup of tea.

When I go home in the evening I would have my dinner but I Usually wait until bedtime before I have a cup of tea.

Having tea in the students union is more of a social event Than anything else. It’s an opportunity to get our thoughts Together and relax. The process of making tea is a little Different though. We take very little part in the tea making Process as it is taken care of by the staff.

Step 1. Order tea.Step 2. they put the tea bag in and add boiling water from Machine.Step 3. put on plastic lidStep 4. payStep 5. go to the tray with all the extras, milk in jug, sugar etc..Step 6. Stir with spoon and throw tea bag in the bin. Step 6. sit in or take away?

More convenient

Chance to get a breather and some fresh air

Some people choose to have tea and a cigarette

Can be handy when having a quick break between classes

Can be handy whilst commuting, in the car or on the bus

Get a break away from the computer

Having tea at my work is somewhat a horrible experience as It involves using a very temper mental machine and at timesIt can be a little awkward to operate. I personally would only have tea at work if I was desperate Because I know there are places in the Foyleside that do a Better quality cup of tea.

Step 1: Insert 25p into machine.

Step 2: Make choice of either Tea, Coffee, hot chocolate or Orange juice.

Step 3: cup shoots into holster, horrible grinding sounds, Liquid is poured into cup.

Step 4: Take cup out, probably suggest wrapping napkinAround the cup as it can be hot.

Step 5: Put in sugar and stir with stick.

Step 6: Enjoy!

Sometimes its hard to balance work with my university studies and itsGood to stop and take a breather.

Having to travel between University and work means I don’tHave much time to stop and and make tea my self so I Prefer it on the go. It’s much faster and can give a good energy boost when you Need some motivation. I have tea when I feel drained orSimply need to wake up a little.

Tea is just as good as water

Some people think too much Sugar ruins their tea but I’m A big fan of sugar in my tea. Although after constantly Being hounded for having tooMuch sugar I decided to opt forSweeteners which are much Healthier and has same taste.

I grew up with Punjana as It’s my families choice.

Now I must take all this data andResearch and adapt it to make an App that will allow people enjoy Tea virtually.
