Our Journey

• 2011 – Runners up in the SKAL (Sustainable development in Tourism) awards.

• 2011 – TMACC awarded Overall Winners for responsible tourism at the annual Imvelo awards ceremony

• 2011 – Joined the CCC RT pilot

• 2010 - Platinum certification by the Heritage Environmental Management Company

• 2008 - Imvelo Award: Best Single Resource Management, Water

• 2007 – Joined Heritage Environmental program – RT first introduced

• 2003 - Environmental Management System was awarded ISO14001 certification by the South African Bureau of

Standards.

• 1997 - First Environmental Management System for the operational phase of the cableway was drawn up with

the help of consultants.

which supports a number of impoverished families.
