RCH’s patients come from across the province yet, it was a local patient, Tim Delesalle, who so aptly captured the current needs of the hospital: “The support and care at RCH was immediate, unconditional, thorough and benefi cial. It is crucial to place the necessary tools in the professionals’ hands to allow this valuable work to succeed.” Delesalle, was living in New Westminster when he arrived at RCH in full cardiogenic shock. He, his wife Karen and the Delesalle family business have since contributed extensively to RCH by donating to the $5 million Multipurpose Interventional Suite that was opened in October 2012 bringing cardiac, stroke and aneurysm care closer to home for all of

Fraser Health’s patients.

“Royal Columbian Hospital Foundation remains grateful and humbled by the generous support we receive from the philanthropic minded community of individuals, business owners and corporations in New Westminster,” commented

Adrienne Bakker, President and CEO, Royal Columbian Hospital Foundation.
