K of C We invite all Knights to come out and assist at the Special Needs Mass on Sun., Aug. 11 at 5:00pm. On Aug. 12, the Knights commemorate the birthday of Venerable Fr. Michael J. McGivney (1852–1890), founder of the Order. During his ministry, Fr. McGivney was the protector of the disadvantaged, widows and orphans, and in particular of immigrants and their families. Parishioners are invited to pray his canonization cause. Next General Meeting: Tues., Aug. 13 from 7:30 p.m.–9:00 p.m. Everyone is welcome to the Knights’ BBQ on Sun., Aug. 18 after the 10:45 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Masses.

SOLEMNITY of OUR LADY’S ASSUMPTION On Thursday, August 15, we will have a special day in honour of Our Blessed Mother that will begin with the rosary at 6:30 p.m., followed by the Holy Mass, exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, a talk, and Benediction with Fr. Jerome.
