AndyStuartisPresidentandChiefExecutiveOfficerforNorwegianCruiseLine,appointedtothispositioninSeptember2016.Inthisrole,heisresponsibleforensuringthatNorwegianexcelsineveryfacetandthatthecompanycontinuestoproduceindustryleadingfinancialresults,whilebringingnewideasandwaysofdoingbusinessthatimproveguestsatisfactionandteammemberinvolvement.A28-yearcompanyveteran,StuarthasbeeninstrumentalinbuildingtheNorwegianbrandandstrengtheningrelationshipswith
travelpartners.
HemostrecentlyservedasPresidentandChiefOperatingOfficerand,priortothat,ExecutiveVicePresidentofGlobalSalesandPassengerServices,wherehisprimaryobjectivefocusedonensuringNorwegiancontinuedtoenhanceandstrengthenitsrelationshipswithtravelpartnersasitsprimarydistributionsystem.Hehadrecentlyannounceda40percentincreaseintheoverallsalesteamforNorwegiantopromotethelong-termsuccessofitsvaluedtravelpartners.HeintroducedPartnersFirstin2011,thecompany’scorporatephilosophyofalwaysputtingitstravelpartnersfirstinthreekeyareas:investmentinlong-termtravelpartnersuccess;acompletefocusonbeingeasytodobusinesswith;andacommitmenttotravelpartnersondirectbusiness.
HealsoservedasChiefProductOfficer,responsiblefordeliveryoftheFreestyleCruisingproductacrosstheNorwegianfleet,ensuringthatitprovidedexceptional
valueandqualityforguestsandwasconsistentwiththemarketingandbrandpositioningofthecompany.
StuartjoinedNorwegianin1988andservedasthecompany’sSalesandMarketingDirectorintheUnitedKingdomuntilDecember1996.HewasnamedVicepresidentofsalesplanningandrelocatedtothecompany’sMiamiheadquartersinJanuary1997.Hewaspromotedtoseniorvicepresidentofpassengerservicesin1998,andin1999,namedseniorvicepresidentofNorwegiansales.In2000,hewaspromotedtoseniorvicepresidentofmarketingandsales.In2003,Stuartwasnamedexecutivevicepresidentofmarketing,salesandpassengerservices.
