Part 1: STEP UP FOR GOD

Philippians 3:14

“… I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us."

1 John 2:6

“Those who say they live in God, should live their lives as Jesus did.”

1.ADMIT MY

DEPENDENCE ON GOD

James 4:13-15

Look here you people who say, ‘Today or tomorrow we are going to a certain town and we will stay there a year. We will do business there and make a profit.’

James 4:13-15

How do you know what will happen tomorrow? For your life is like the morning fog, it's here a little while, then it's gone.

James 4:13-15

What you ought to say is, “if the Lord wants us to, we will live and do this or that.”

James 4:10

“When you bow down before the Lord and admit your dependence on him, he will lift you up and give you honor.”

Hosea 12:6

"So now come back to your God! Act on the principles of love and justice and always live in confident dependence on your God".

2.CONFESS MY SINS

TO GOD

1 John 1:9

"If we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us and to cleanse us from every wrong".

Colossians 2:13

"You were dead because of your sins and because your sinful nature was not yet cut away. Then God made you alive with Christ. He forgave all our sins.

3.TAKE MY FEARS

BEFORE GOD

Philippians 4:6-7

"Don't worry about anything; instead pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank Him for all He has done.

Philippians 4:6-7

If you do this, you will experience God's peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand.

Philippians 4:6-7

His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus."

Isaiah 41:10

"Don't be afraid for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. I will help you. I will uphold you with my victorious right hand."

4.SET SOME SPIRITUAL

GOALS FOR GOD

Philippians 4:13-14

"Dear brothers and sisters, I am still not all I should be, but I am focusing my energy on this one thing:

Philippians 4:13-14

Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead. I strain to reach the end of the race and receive the prize for which

Philippians 4:13-14

God, through Christ, Jesus is calling us up to Heaven."
