The St. Paul-Minneapolis Bulldog Club held their annual Bark in the Park Doggie Carnival on Saturday, September 20. This year we joined Law Enforcement United - Team Minnesota who added a dog walk and 5K to the event. We had a nice turnout and a lot of fun. Thank you to Kym & Jamie Thew, Becky Risler, Linda Miller, Jen Kvidera-Lentsch, Rita Guthmiller, Jackie Bergeron and our wonderful kissers - Buffy, Gracie, Vivi, Elsa and Pearl. Only re-gret is that we wish we had more club members and bulldogs turn out for the fun - remember, we do these events to get you involved and hope you can come out with your bulldogs and have some fun.

Notes from the St Paul-Minneapolis Bulldog Club Secretary:

Nominations for Board members can be made from the floor at the October

19 General Membership Meeting. To be eligible for nomination, you must have at-tended 2/3 of the General Membership Meetings for the previous

year. Please contact Jackie Bergeron if you need to know if you are eligible.

The Membership Renewals will be in the mail to all members by October 15. Please try to fill these out and send them back as soon as possible. Our constitution allows

for them to be returned as last as December 31st, but it will be much easier to update the roster and secretary files if we can get them returned as soon as pos-

sible. We will also be sending the Breeder Referral paperwork out with the renewals.

Just a note that I have decided not to accept my nomination to the board for the

next term, so I will be stepping down as Secretary of the Club at the end of my term on December 31st. So I am trying to get all of the paperwork in line for whomever

will be elected to fill the position. I have so enjoyed being the Secretary and I am amazed at how far our club has come over the last 12 years.

Thank you to all of you - and don't worry, I'll still be around and hope to continue to work on the many events our club does.

Jackie Bergeron

See you on the 19th!

Don’t forget to bring

your Bully Monsters!!
