environment and help him/her to behave appropriately and differentiate the right from the wrong.
PROJECT WORK: “ CLEANLINESS DRIVE” ( CLEANLINESS, THE FIRST LAW OF
HEALTH)

April and May
Baisakhi Celebration- Bhangra Dance on Punjabi songs. Children will come
in Punjabi dress.
Earth Day Celebration- Hand Impression on planet Earth with blue and
green water colour.( Group activity on chart paper).
Yellow Day Celebration- Sun making (Activity out of paper cutting).
Mother’s Day Celebration- Photo frame making (Activity in art file).
Family Tree- Family Tree making in art file (Family Photo).
JULY
Rainy Day- Activity given in Fusion and Fission Book. (Paper boat making).
Red Day Celebration- Tearing and pasting with red glaze paper in an apple
(Activity in art file)
Vegetable Painting- Activity given in Fusion and Fission book (Onion
Impression )
AUGUST
Green Day/Teej Celebration- Children will come in green casuals.

Friendship Day Celebration- Friendship bracelets making out of colourful
straws.

Raksha Bandhan- Rakhi making (Activity in art file).

(Colour and decorate the pot). Children will dress up like Lord Krishna,
Radha, Sudama, Gopi etc.

Teacher’s Day Celebration- Card making for Teachers. Children will come
dressed up like a teacher and boys as Dr. Radhakrishnan ..
Tearing and Pasting- Activity in Fusion and Fission Book (Hen)
Recitation Competion- Rhymes with actions ( Hindi/English).
OCTOBER
Gandhi Jayanti- Paste the picture of ‘’Gandhi Ji’’ (Art file). Children will
come dressed up as Mahatma Gandhi and National Leaders.

Sandwich Day Celebration- Prepaing sandwich in class.

Children’s Day Celebration- Colouring Competion. Children will come
dressed up as Chacha Nehru.
Picnic- A day to Enjoy and have Fun.
DECEMBER
Christmas Celebration- Paste or draw five things used for Christmas tree

Cake Decoration and class party.
Winter Carnival.
JANUARY
Lohri Celebration- Children will come in Punjabi dress.
