Types of SquidThere are many types of squid in the world here are the top nine.• Giant Squid ,Firefly Squid,

Vampire Squid, Bobtail Squid, Colossal Squid, Caribbean Reef Squid, Eye Flash Squid, Sparkling Enope Squid, and Glass Squid.

Giant Squid

The Giant squid can be 40 to 60 feet in length. It’s habitat is world wide and it can live at depths of 1,000 feet.

Firefly Squid

The Firefly squid can be about three inches in length. It’s habitat is the Pacific Ocean and it can live at depths of 600 to 1,200 feet.

Vampire Squid

The Vampire squid can be about 6 inches in length. It’s habitat is tropical and temperate oceans and it can live in depths of 1,800 to 3,500 feet.

Bobtail Squid

The Bobtail squid can be about 3 to 4 centimeters in length. It’s habitat is near Hawaii and it lives in shallow waters.

Colossal Squid

The Colossal squid can be about 39 to 46 feet in length. Scientist think its habitat is anywhere these depths can be found, 3,300 to 7,200 feet of water.

Caribbean Reef Squid

The Caribbean squid can be about 20 centimeters. It’s habitat is in turtle grass and coral reefs it stay at depths of 1.5 to 8 meters.
